Capture-the-flag w/ restrictive respawns

We will be playing 12 minute games of Capture-the-flag using heavy duty commercial lasertag equipment rented from specopsliveplay in Oakdale. Two teams will combat each other at a time- red vs blue.
Each player will be given 6 lives. Each time they're shot they loose one of their lives and their gun won't fire for about a second. When they've lost their last life, they've been killed and must return to the respawn area to be respawned, costing valuable time.
Dead players may only be respawned if their flag is at their base. When a team's flag has been captured, dead players must wait at the respawn area for their flag to be returned. Dead players are allowed to talk on their radios to help persuade their teamates to return their flag.
Game Objectives
Primary Objective- capture the enemy flag and return it to your base with your flag still there within the 12 min game time. Doing this will win your team 2 victory points.
Secondary Objective- kill as many opponents as possible. If both teams fail in their primary objective to capture their opponent's flag, victory will be determined by the team with the most number of kills, and that team will win just 1 victory point.
Team Scoring
This is a competitive team event. We will be playing with the same teams throughout the event. At the end of the event, the team with the most victory points wins. Capturing the enemy flag is worth twice as many game wins as winning by number of kills. Results are posted on a scoreboard in the picnic area, and will be posted online.
